Monster Hunters Wilds just landed with a bang, but some fans are already expressing discontent. The game is already smashing records on Steam, but Capcom’s decision to lock character edits behind a paywall has left a growing number of players frustrated.
As soon as the much-anticipated title launched, players realized they needed to shell out real money or restart from scratch to tweak their hunter’s appearance. The community is now furious, accusing the developer of nickel-and-diming players for such a basic feature. As one Reddit user wrote:
