New Pokémon TCG Tins Scheduled To Hit Stores Soon But Getting Them May Take Some Luck

Pokémon Trading Card Game collectors looking to add a new tin to their stash will want to brace for the launch of "Slashing Legends," especially since they'll likely be difficult to purchase. With the Pokémon TCG hobby growing exponentially over the last few years, it's becoming harder and harder to track down various sets, especially at launch. Even smaller products that may have once drawn less attention from scalpers are becoming the targets of severe price gouging, so fans must be proactive to grab anything they want.

Per PokéBeach, the "Slashing Legends" tin will be released in May and will retail for $24,99. The tin consists of five booster packs, a code card for Pokémon TCG Live, and either a Koraidon ex or Zacian ex promo card; Both are the English versions of cards currently only available in the Japanese-exclusive ex Starter Decks: Generations [SVM]. Collectors should be aware that the "Slashing Legends" tin is pulled from the "Journey Together" set which is set to be released in March 2025.

Given the value-proposition of a Pokémon TCG tin, these products have gained a reputation for selling out incredibly quickly. It's likely that "Slashing Legends" will be a hot-ticket item...
