Stardew Valley Switch players may encounter some issues following a patch released yesterday. The patch was released in celebration of Stardew Valley's ninth birthday, and mostly fixed some errors and bugs but also added a few new Easter eggs for fans to discover.
In a post on X, the game's creator ConcernedApe let fans know that the recent Switch patch 1.6.15.1 is causing some known issues. ConcernedApe states that he is "very ashamed to say this, but there is an error in the recent Switch patch." The game is "mostly playable," he goes on to say, but he's asking fans to "avoid artifact troves and back room of adventure guild."
A patch to fix the issues is being worked on "as fast as possible."
