Pokemon GO players will soon be able to see who the GO Battle League's top players are.

On Friday, April 10th, the GO Battle League leaderboard will go live, developer Niantic announced. The leaderboard is launching soon after the GO Battle League goes from the Ultra League to the Master League. The Go Battle League leaderboards will show the top 500 players in the world, as well as their nicknames, teams, ranks, ratings and total matches. Rankings will be based on the previous day's in-game ratings for Trainers rank 7 and up. The leaderboard is scheduled to update between 8:00 p.m. UTC and 10:00 p.m. UTC. It is important to note that updates may be delayed by things such as maintenance.

To celebrate the launch of the GO Battle League leaderboards, April 12th will be GO Battle Day: Marill. The event will feature the water- and fairy-type Pokemon, and will have activities related to the GO Battle League. The more battles that players win from 11 a.m. to 2:00p.m. local time, they more chances they will have to encounter Marill. During this time, the Pokemon will appear after every first and third win. If a Premium Battle Pass is used, Marill will show up after every battle. Trainers will also be rewards 2x Catch Stardust for catching Marill during the event.

All day on GO Battle Day: Marill (from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time), players will be able to complete 20 sets of GO Battle League beattles, up from the regular 5 sets, for a total of 100 battles.

Pokemon GO's Spring event started today, and will continue on until April 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time. During this time, Exeggcute, Chansey, Mareep, Marill, and Torchic will appear more in the wild, with the chance of a Shiny Exeggcute showing up. Pikachus and Bunearys can be found in the wild wearing festive spring headwear. There will be Field Reaserch tasks that will reward players with encounters with Alolan Exeggutor, Azumarill, and Audino. 2 km eggs have the chance of hatching Pichu, Togepi, Tyrogue, Chingling, Happiny, Mucnhlax and Riolu. Hatch candy will be doubled, and Lucky Eggs will last a full hour.

Pokemon GO is available now for Android and iOS mobile devices.
