Rockstar Games, the renowned developer and publisher behind Grand Theft Auto, has bought its longtime partner, Video Games Deluxe. The new development comes following years of collaboration between US-based Rockstar Games and the Australian studio on various kinds of projects, ranging from console games to mobile games.
For more than two decades, Rockstar Games has been a brand associated with AAA blockbusters thanks to the immense success of the Grand Theft Auto series, Bully, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more. The American publisher and its subsidiary studios have time and again delivered monumental hits, especially through the wildly popular Grand Theft Auto series. Owing to the nature of AAA game development, Rockstar Games commands a fleet of numerous devs across its internal studios, such as Rockstar North, which undertake projects from its distinguished portfolio of hit franchises.
