Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced players have noticed that the PC version is missing the in-game text chat feature, and many aren't happy about the feature's exclusion. The enhanced re-release of Grand Theft Auto 5 brought several features that were once exclusive to the game's PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, including improved graphics and audio.
Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced launched on March 4 for PC with optimizations that bring parity with the existing PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of GTA 5. In addition, the improved PC version has new features exclusive to the platform, such as Nvidia DLSS support for GeForce RTX graphics cards and new ray tracing options. Players who own the original version of GTA 5 can also migrate their story mode and GTA Online progress, and they still retain access to the legacy version, which is now titled GTA 5 Legacy in Steam libraries. Although the improved re-release has many features and updated content that PC gamers have been asking for, the release is far from perfect for some fans due to the omission of in-game text chat.
