Fragpunk Delayed Indefinitely on Consoles At the Last Minute

Its rather unfortunate to be excited about the launch of a game only for it to be suddenly delayed on your preferred platform. Such is the case with Bad Guitar Studio’s Fragpunk, which announced early this morning that due to technical issues found while optimizing and adapting the game the decision has been made to delay Fragpunk indefinitely on consoles.

The free-to-play title will still launch on PC as scheduled, tomorrow March 6, on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. However, having to delay the game for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 especially for those who paid for the $10 pre-order bundle. Publisher Netease is at least offering compensation for those that shelled out the cash.

The pre-orders are also being refunded to those players and compensation of $10 in in-game currency will be given to console players as well.

First announced during the Xbox Games showcase last summer, Fragpunk is a 5-on-5 Hero shooter featuring shard cards that change the rules before and during matches.
