A recent Reddit post from user G_aster captured the frustration perfectly, stating, "You're telling me random grandma gets a full art for her card but not my glorious king Professor Oak?" This isn’t a one-off complaint either, as an older discussion posted by Reddit user DoTortoisesHop has also questioned why one of the most influential figures in the franchise still hasn’t received a full art card despite his constant presence in Pokémon TCG throughout the years.
