Steel Seed has an official release date: April 10. The futuristic game from Close to the Sun developer Storm in a Teacup will have a day-one launch on both PC and consoles.
Originally announced in late January 2023, Steel Seed is a stealth action-adventure game set in a distant-future world, where mankind is flirting with extinction. Players are put in the shoes of Zoe, an infiltrator on a quest to explore a hostile facility in search of secrets crucial to saving humanity.
Dark fantasy games like Gloomwood, Thief 2, and Dishonored allow players to explore magical and dark worlds from a stealthy, low-down perspective.
Over two years following its initial reveal, Steel Seed has been treated to a release date, with publisher ESDigital Games committing to launching it on April 10. The PC version of the game will be available via both Steam and the Epic Games Store, with Steel Seed also being slated for a day-one release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
