PRINCESS MONONOKE, a landmark of animation from Academy Award®-winning director Hayao Miyazaki, and globally celebrated animation house, Studio Ghibli, comes to North American cinemas, presented on a brand new 4K restoration exclusively in IMAX theatres. In celebration of the historic Studio Ghibli’s 40th anniversary, GKIDS, the Academy Award®-winning producer and distributor of acclaimed and artist-driven animation from around the world, will bring the film to IMAX theatres in the US and Canada beginning March 26, 2025.
