One of the Most Controversial Games of All Time is Coming to VR

Postal 2 VR has been announced for modern virtual reality platforms, though a release date has not been revealed yet. The infamous Postal 2 was originally released in the early 2000s but received backlash because of its violent content.

The Postal video game series launched its first title in 1997 as a third-person shooter filled with dark humor, and the saga continued launching more entries until 2022 with Postal: Brain Damaged. Out of all Postal games, however, Postal 2 is arguably the most memorable. Released in 2003 by the series creator Running with Scissors, Postal 2 is a first-person open-world shooter that is now considered a cult classic even though it was highly criticized back in the day. Players might remember the backlash that Postal 2 received because of its level of violence and portrayal of stereotypes. Now, the game is not only making a comeback but it is getting revamped for virtual reality headsets.
