Blizzard has confirmed that there will not be a BlizzCon 2025 after a year of silence, but there is a silver lining on the horizon for fans. The last BlizzCon event took place in 2023 and had been canceled several times prior due to unforeseen circumstances, including the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While there will not be an event this year, Blizzard has showcased a short teaser revealing BlizzCon 2026 is coming on September 12-13 and will be bigger and better than anything we have seen before.
In a recent X post shared by Blizzard Entertainment, it was confirmed that BlizzCon will be coming back with an in-person event, taking place in the Anaheim Convention Center, once again, just not as soon as fans had hoped.
