Dino Crisis May Finally Be Back As Capcom Quietly Files A New Trademark

Dino Crisis fans have waited patiently for Capcom to return to the cult-classic survival-horror franchise and it finally seems like that the developer is ready to unleash the beasts. Following the remakes of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4, players have been hopeful that Capcom will eventually give Dino Crisis the same treatment. Given how the franchises share a great deal of DNA, it stands to reason that giving Regina and her scaly enemies an upgrade wouldn't be too far out of the question.

Per Gematsu on X (formerly Twitter), Capcom filed a trademark for Dino Crisis on March 4 in Japan, suggesting that the studio is planning on returning to the series in some form. Aside from the trademark's existence, nothing else is known about the potential project but this news does come after Dino Crisis was voted, in an official Capcom poll, as the series fans would most like to see recieve a new game. Whether or not the filing is connected to the poll remains to be seen, but it stands to reason that Capcom would listen to fans' feedback regarding future projects.
