Pokemon Scarlet and Violet pulled back the curtain on a new Seven-Star Tera Raid battle, as Quaquaval the Unrivaled is now available for trainers to face. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet trainers have approximately one week to battle and capture a level 100 Paldean starter that comes with a potent ability.

Known as the Dancer Pokemon, Quaquaval is the final evolution of Quaxly and Quaxwell, which evolves at level 36. Quaquaval is a Water and Fighting dual-type starter that has high physical attack and speed stats. Although other Water Pokemon like Blastoise and Swampert are known for their defenses, Quaquaval's stats and move versatility are similar to Greninja and Samurott to some extent. In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Quaquaval's type combination makes it a solid pick against Steel, Fire, and Rock-type Pokemon, but it struggles against Electric attacks from various foes.
