Fans of Jackbox Games' brand of humorous party games may want to keep their schedules clear for an upcoming Jackbox Direct showcase that has been set for April 7. Jackbox Games has been a major force in the party game genre for years, and many fans are eagerly anticipating news of what's to come after some uncertainly in 2024.

Originally founded under the name Learn Television, the company's first gaming product was a children's trivia game called That's a Fact, Jack!, but its true rise to prominence came in 1995 with the release of the more adult-oriented You Don't Know Jack line of trivia games. About 11 years ago, Jackbox shifted away from pure trivia and into chaotic, player-led party games with the release of the original Jackbox Party Pack in December 2014.
