Recent updates to the Bethesda Creation Kit website may point toward Starfield being released on PS5 sometime in the future. Starfield was released a few years back as an Xbox console exclusive, leaving many PlayStation owners wondering when, if ever, the game would see a release on the PS5.
Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax Media in March 2021 led many to question whether the company's IPs would remain exclusive to Xbox. Since then, a variety of games have become available or are set to come to PlayStation, including Deathloop, which is already available, and Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, which is coming later this year. However, one notable exclusion was one of 2023's most anticipated releases, Starfield. For now, Microsoft hasn't shared any updates regarding the game being available on platforms other than Xbox and PC. Outside of PlayStation, recent leaks may have pointed to a number of Xbox games coming to Nintendo Switch 2, including Starfield. That being said, recent developments may suggest that the game could head to PS5 in the future.
