Xbox Game Pass is losing two Yakuza games and five more titles later today, March 15. While these are the first games to leave the subscription service in March 2025, they won't be the last, as another batch of Xbox Game Pass departures is expected at the tail end of the month.
Microsoft typically removes games from the XGP catalog every two weeks. It most recently did so on February 28, when Xbox Game Pass lost nine titles, including Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, and PAW Patrol World.
The latest update to the Xbox Game Pass library adds a critically-acclaimed first-person shooter game that was originally released in 2024.
Another seven games are now set to follow suit later today. The March 15 Xbox Game Pass departures include No More Heroes 3, Evil West, and Solar Ash, as well as Lies of P, and SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated. The forthcoming wave of removals also includes two beloved Sega games: Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.
