Legendary game developer Ragnar Tørnquist has just announced Red Thread's next game, titled Hello Sunshine. Tørnquist and Red Thread are the Norwegian developers behind the classic adventure titles The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, as well as the more recent games Dustborn and Draugen. The upcoming game takes on a very different style than the developer's previous titles, bringing robots and the desert together in an unlikely way.
The intriguing teaser trailer offers a first glimpse into Hello Sunshine, which sees players embarking on a dangerous trek through a post-apocalyptic desert landscape. The game studio's newly announced survival game seems to be a mix of Fallout aesthetics with a touch of The Iron Giant. There's no release date or window yet, but the game is available to wishlist on Steam.
The gritty content of the trailer provides a stark contrast to the game's title design, which is bright orange and yellow and features a cartoon smiling sun.
