A new leak suggests that Mortal Kombat could be about to do battle in the Rocket League arena. Mortal Kombat has been at the forefront of fighting games since the early 1990s. In 2023, NetherRealm rebooted the franchise with Mortal Kombat 1 and has since been looking at expanding the franchise's appeal outside of its fighting roots.

NetherRealm’s violent brawler is no stranger to making appearances outside its own universe. Mortal Kombat recently partnered with Fortnite to bring the iconic Sub-Zero to Epic Games’ Battle Royale title. It now seems that Warner Bros and Nether Realm could be working to explore other avenues of promoting the long-running franchise.
