Role-playing game fans who missed out on one of 2024's biggest releases may soon have a chance to play it on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft's service has had a strong few months bolstered by several interesting releases and exclusives: Following Indiana Jones and the Great Circle in December 2024 and Avowed in February 2025, there's never been a better time to be a subscriber. As users patiently wait for Atomfall and South of Midnight, it looks like an expansive fantasy game may soon be the distraction they need.
Per Xbox Era, a listing for a PC Game Pass version of Bioware's Dragon Age: The Veilguard was found on the Xbox app. The game itself is not currently available but subscribers can try a trial version that's accessible through EA Play, an additional service provided through Game Pass Ultimate. It seems like an indication that the full version of The Veilguard will soon be added to Xbox Game Pass but as with all leaks of this nature, it's recommended that fans take it with a grain of salt until Microsoft makes an official announcement.
