Alien RPG To "Evolve" With Alien: Romulus Content And Updated Rules

Free League Publishing has launched a new crowdfunding campaign for Alien: The Roleplaying Game, incorporating content from last year's Alien: Romulus and updating the popular horror tabletop RPG. The Alien horror franchise is already expanding with the Alien: Earth TV series serving as a prequel to the original Alien movie. It won't be the only major Alien project launching this year, with Free League Publishing releasing a new edition of its popular horror RPG based on the sci-fi franchise.

Launching today on Kickstarter, the new Evolved Edition of the Alien RPG brings content from Alien: Romulus to the horror-themed tabletop RPG along with new revised rules and improved mechanics. The game continues to use the Year Zero game engine, with players rolling pools of D6s in the hopes of getting a single 6, but with new gameplay support and revisions to various parts of the game. The new Kickstarter has already raised over $800,000 as of the time of writing, with fulfillment promised in September of this year.

The Kickstarter will fund the production of several different products, including a new Core Rulebook, a Starter Set, and a Cinematic Scenario box called the Rapture Protocol. Support...
