The nascent video game studio Dreamhaven has announced the upcoming release of four new games, one of which is already receiving praise in early access. Mike Morhaime, the former president of Blizzard Entertainment and founder of Dreamhaven, showcased the brand's new releases in partnership with The Game Awards, marking the first-ever showcase for Dreamhaven. The company was founded in 2020 after Morhaime's 2018 departure from Blizzard.
Speaking to IGN at the Game Developers Conference, Morhaim stated that he wants Dreamhaven to "build a reputation with gamers" and have its name "[stand] for something, a seal of quality," to create trust with consumers and create excitement for all of its titles, regardless of their genre. Dreamhaven's current lineup of games consists of Lynked: Banner of the Spark, Sunderfolk, Wildgate, and Mechabellum. Two of the games will be released with Dreamhaven's studios, Moonshot Games and Secret Door. The others were developed by Fuzzybot and Game River but published under the Dreamhaven brand.
