Star Wars: Legion Reveals New Starter Sets, Providing Even More Affordable Starting Point

Star Wars: Legion, the miniatures skirmish game involving armies from the Star Wars universe, is getting a new easy entry point into the game thanks to newly revealed Starter Sets. Originally released back in 2018, Star Wars: Legion allows players to build armies involving five different Star Wars factions across two different eras of the game. Starting this year, maker Atomic Mass Games started to release resculpted core models for all four armies, made of hard plastic featuring new, more dynamic poses. Now, many of these models will be bundled in new Starter Sets beginning later this year.

Announced at Adepticon, the new starter sets will cover four of Star Wars: Legion's five armies - the Rebel Alliance, Empire, Separatist Alliance, and Galactic Republic. Each set will contain over 35 different miniatures, with a low price point of $95. The starter sets comprise approximately 600 points worth of units, or about 60% of the units needed to play a standard 1,000-point game. The Rebel Alliance and Empire starter boxes will be released this summer, followed by the Separatists and Galactic Republic.
