The developers of Black Desert Online have confirmed that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be shutting down. The upcoming June 26 update will be one of the biggest yet for Black Desert Online, as the development team at Pearl Abyss shifts its focus to the existing PC version of the game and the all-new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

Black Desert Online is an action-driven MMORPG developed by Pearl Abyss, and it's been in service for nearly a decade thanks to strong support from its community. Black Desert Online's massive open world, free-flowing movement and combat, and slew of side content make it a standout title in the MMORPG genre.
