Capcom has provided a free title update roadmap for Monster Hunter Wilds throughout the first half of 2025, as director Yuya Tokuda celebrates 10 million copies of the game sold with the community. To commemorate the feat, Capcom is releasing a free item pack for Monster Hunter Wilds players with more information coming soon, and the team thanked the community for providing feedback to help tailor future content.

Monster Hunter Wilds was released back in February 2025, serving as a successor to 2018’s Monster Hunter: World with support for cross-platform play. Hunters are tasked with exploring the Forbidden Lands in this entry, featuring several dangerous biomes and a wealth of colorful monsters to beat. Before Capcom’s first major update outlined ahead, Monster Hunter Wilds players should expect a hefty downtime to prepare, starting on March 31, with the biggest downtime period scheduled for April 3.

Despite some obvious differences on the surface, Monster Hunter Wilds and Xenoblade Chronicles X share enough in common that fans may find overlap.
