A website celebrating Final Fantasy 9’s 25th anniversary has launched amid rumors of a remake. Final Fantasy 9 was released for the original PlayStation in 2000, and returned the series to a more medieval-like setting following the futuristic feel of Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8. Set in the mystical world of Gaia, Final Fantasy 9 follows a group of heroes as they journey to bring peace to a realm divided by war.
