Elden Ring Nightreign's New Archer Class Is Straight Out Of Monster Hunter Wilds

Elden Ring Nightreign isn't really having the best buildup to launch. Scalpers immediately started to do their thing as soon as the free network test codes went out. Then, the network test itself suffered from long queues and connection issues, forcing FromSoftware to apologise. And, finally, Nightreign's own Steam Page accidentally leaked a DLC.

I've never enjoyed a Soulslike game the way I enjoy Elden Ring Nightreign.

However, it's still a FromSoftware game, and you can expect fans to flock to it as soon as it launches on May 30. Until then, we've seen various character classes, bosses, and features that have got us excited for this new formula. The devs have now revealed a new ranged character class called Ironeye for Nightreign.

Known as the Ironeye, this new class is, simply put, an archer. You may be thinking that archery was one of the weakest aspects of Elden Ring, so there's absolutely no chance that you'd play as Ironeye in Nightreign, however, the reveal video suggests that the character plays more like a hunter with a bow from Monster Hunter Wilds.

Most FromSoft games usually have the player move slowly and deliberately, punishing you for even a slightly off-timed...
