Two years after its original release, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is getting five brand-new amiibo. The new reveals were made alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, which detailed what players could expect from the upcoming console, and its incoming upgrades to existing Switch games, like Tears of the Kingdom.
As promised, the Nintendo Switch 2 will be backward compatible with numerous Switch games. However, taking things a step further, the Nintendo Switch 2 will also be offering upgrades for a number of existing games, allowing the titles to fully utilize the improved system's graphical capabilities, as well as adding new features to the games. Appropriately, Tears of the Kingdom is getting an upgrade, and will get some new amiibo to support it.
