The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct did not disappoint, packed full of hardware and software details, new features, and Switch 2-exclusive games. One brand-new title was the wheelchair sports game Drag x Drive, which will make good use of the successor console’s mouse mode through the Joy-Con 2. Drag x Drive does not have an official release date yet, but the title is expected to drop sometime in Summer 2025.

The Direct also paved the way for another exciting showcase on the horizon, and Mario Kart fans will want to mark April 17 on their calendars. After the game was announced as a Switch 2 launch title, included in the console’s bundle offer, Mario Kart World will get its own Nintendo Direct showcase on the aforementioned date, designed to cover the new features and upgrades in this racer entry.
