Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and more Nintendo Switch 2 games have had their file sizes revealed through the Japanese Nintendo store. The open world Mario Kart World's file size is small compared to other racing games like Forza Horizon 5 (110GB) and Gran Turismo 7 (96.8GB), which are on the competitor's consoles.

Nintendo Everything has found the file sizes of five different Switch 2 games while exploring Nintendo's official store listings. They include the following:
Mario Kart World's small file size is quite surprising as the game seems lush in detail and will be taking the series open world for the first time. When in the Grand Prix mode, you'll be travelling from course to course until there's a winner at the end. You'll also be able to free roam, seeing the sights and taking pictures with your friends along the way. To compare, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's file size on the original Switch is 6.75GB, making Mario Kart World also quadruple the size.
