Set in the sprawling fictional mega-city of Nuevo Caracas, La Quimera follows a struggling private military company caught in a violent conflict between rival factions, shadowy corporations, and supernatural forces. Players wield advanced exosuits in high-stakes missions where the line between reality and illusion begins to blur.
The development team at Reburn includes industry veterans from the Metro series, including gameplay and AI designer Oleksandr Kostiuk, now serving as project lead. Reburn CEO Dmytro Lymar brings years of experience from his previous role as director and CEO of 4A Games Ukraine.
