When you think of Oblivion, you probably think of those wonderfully odd NPCs dotted across the world. Not only do they look pretty wild, even for a game of that era, but they also have some of the most iconic dialogue of all time, thanks to Oblivion's radiant AI.
Results may vary, but often, it means that you can walk past NPCs having the most bizarre conversations since everyone has a selection of topics and responses for the AI to use, and many of them don't pair well. Still, it wouldn't be Oblivion without it, and it seems that the Skyblivion team is very much aware of this.
In a Q&A, a Skyblivion dev answered a question concerning NPC conversations in the unofficial remake. Here, we're told that the team is trying to capture the magic of these interactions in Skyblivion, even if it works a little differently in Skyrim, which the game is built in.
