World of Warcraft Classic has officially confirmed that Scourge Invasions will still be available for players during Season of Discovery Phase 8. Though there was some confusion about whether World of Warcraft would keep the world activity going in the new update, fans now know that Scourge Invasions will remain active after April 8.
Scourge Invasions are a world event added in Phase 7 of World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery in which players can battle undead and cultists in major cities and other zones, earning powerful gear and useful items in the process. However, it was originally unclear if the event would change at the end of the update like Phase 3’s Nightmare Incursions did – or if it would end entirely after Kel’thuzad’s defeat in the Naxxramas raid.
