Last of Us 2 PC Port Initial Player Count Revealed

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered has been released on Steam for PC users, and the initial player count after launch has been revealed. The Last of Us Part 2’s 2013 predecessor also received a remaster before, and the upgraded sequel boasts graphical enhancements, new gameplay modes such as No Return’s roguelike survival experience, full DualSense wireless controller integration, and much more.

The Last of Us Part 2 was first released in 2020 to critical acclaim, despite its dark narrative turn being controversial in the gaming community, and went on to win Game of the Year. Unfortunately, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered’s update 2.0.0 is erasing Ellie and Abby’s skills for some players, which is a frustrating bug considering the patch was intended to boost the PC port with new content.

If Intergalactic takes any inspiration from The Last of Us Part 2, a successful post-launch mode should be at the top of the list.
