The newest patch for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on PlayStation has fixed a major issue related to the game's unlockable items, which cropped up after the roll-out of its preceding update. The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered received its previous update on the occasion of the game's much-awaited arrival on PC on April 3, 2025.
Over a year after its PS5 launch, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered finally made its way onto PC and garnered rave reviews. Along with it, the PS5 version of the remaster, which came out in January 2024, also got a big upgrade in the form of Patch 2.0.0. This particular update brought a bunch of fresh content, such as new No Return characters, maps, trophies, and an Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet-inspired cosmetic item, which is also available in the PC port. Unfortunately, besides these additions, the patch also led to The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered players encountering an issue that reset their progress with unlockables, something that has now been addressed in the latest version of the game.
