These Classic Call Of Duty Games Appear To Be Getting Remasters, Ratings Indicate

Call of Duty is a long-running franchise that continues to dominate sales charts year after year, and now, new rating classifications indicate that remasters of two beloved titles from the series are coming to modern platforms. The recent Modern Warfare reboot subseries aimed to bring elements of the classic trilogy to a more modern audience, but it received a somewhat mixed reception despite high sales. But should these remasters of the old games materialize, fans may be able to get the classic experience after all.

As reported by Insider Gaming, remasters of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and Modern Warfare 3 (2011) may be on the way after ratings appeared for the two titles from the Australian Classification Board. The titles have been listed "MW2- PS5 Cross-Gen Edition" and "MW3 - Cross-Gen Edition" by the Board. Both have been given a 2025 production date, and both games were given MA 15+ ratings.

While they are not confirmed to be the classic games, speculation points to them because of the use of Arabic numerals in the games' titles, which were used for the original trilogy, while the rebooted trilogy opted for Roman numerals....
