Dead by Daylight has released a new update that fixes a lot of problems associated with some recent additions to the co-op survival horror game. There's been a lot going on recently in Dead by Daylight, so patch 8.6.1 should make those new additions run a lot more smoothly.

Following a delay of new Dead by Daylight chapter releases in February, the game is back in full swing. Since the start of April, Behaviour Interactive has unleased a new Killer into the fog and launched the return of a popular annual event.

Some Survivors in Dead By Daylight have specific advantages, meaning players should strive to unlock them first.

Several new fixes relate to Dead by Daylight's new Tokyo Ghoul-themed killer, The Ghoul, who is a fierce version of Ken Kaneki from the esteemed anime and manga series. A couple of these changes relate to The Ghoul's multi-use Kagune Leap attack, fixing the reticle to no longer display a collision notice when targeting Survivors who are downed and removing the visual aura effect on The Ghoul's tentacles when he performs the second leap in a chain.
