More recently, an unknown entity registered the p4re.jp domain in Japan in late March 2025, which reignited rumors about a Persona 4 remake being in the works. The last time a similar domain was registered in Japan was back in March 2023, when Atlus bought the p3re.jp domain. Three months later, Persona 3 Reload was announced.
