Dragon Ball FighterZ has proven to be a huge success.

On Twitter, Bandai Namco announced that over five million copies of Dragon Ball FighterZ have been sold. This is a true milestone, making FighterZ one of the most popular fighting games currently on the market.

"You've trained," the tweet stated. "You've powered up. You've exceeded your limits. And thanks to you, Dragon Ball FighterZ has sold over 5 MILLION units. We are truly humbled by your continued support!"

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently in the midst of its third season. The third season brought with it a number of changes to the game, including multiple assists for all characters, a new Limit Break features that triggers when a player has one character left on the field, and a change in how ki is consumed. New modes were added to the game as well. The third season is also bringing a number of new characters to the game. Kefla joined the game's roster this past February when the game's third season began. Ultra Instinct Goku was added to the game last month. Three more characters are planned to release in the coming months, though the identity of these characters have not been announced.

Dragon Ball FighterZ originally released in 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The title came to the Nintendo Switch later that year. The game is a 3v3 fighter that features a number of memorable characters from the history of Dragon Ball. Since the game released, a number of characters have been added to the roster, including Broly (both the Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super versions), Bardock, and Jiren. The game is continuing strong, and has much more in store for fans.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
