Phasmophobia has announced its first seasonal event for the year, announcing Cursed Hollow. The limited-time Phasmophobia game mode is set to present players with the community challenges they're accustomed to, as well as personal challenges.
Phasmophobia typically holds seasonal events for holidays like Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. Exactly what the events entail differs from year-to-year, but the events typically task players with finding a number of totems or objects related to the holiday.

Starting on April 17, Phasmophobia players will be able to participate in the Cursed Hollow seasonal event. On select maps, players will be haunted by a Forest Spirit, and in addition to the usual tasks of identifying the ghost and completing optional objectives, players will want to locate totems. Collecting said totems changes how the Phasmophobia ghost behaves, with Kinetic Games stating that some effects can benefit the player, while others make the game harder.
