It's looking like June 8 will be an exciting day for fans of the Persona franchise, as that's the rumored day the Persona 4 remake will be announced. Persona 4 was originally released in 2008 and earned widespread critical acclaim. Eventually, the game was ported to the PlayStation Vita as Persona 4 Golden, becoming one of the handheld's highest-rated games in the process. More recently, Atlus ported Persona 4 Golden to PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.
While many fans are anxious to see Persona 6, Atlus has been releasing spin-off games and remakes. Persona 3 Reload, for example, was released last year and was a big hit, earning rave reviews, winning awards, and becoming the company's fastest-selling game after it sold over a million copies in just one week. With the runaway success of Persona 3 Reload, it really should come as no surprise that Atlus is apparently gearing up to give Persona 4 similar treatment.
With rumors of a Persona 4 remake allegedly launching soon, it may be time to replay Persona 4 Golden and relive the adventure in Inaba.
