Death Stranding 2: On the Beach continues to progress smoothly on PlayStation 5 and is on track for its exclusive release in June, according to Hideo Kojima himself. Parallel Development With Other Projects Kojima is going all out with this sequel, and its launch on June 26, 2025, will prove it to be one of the most promising open-world games of the year for PS5. However, unlike the first Death Stranding, the game hasn’t gone Gold yet, meaning it’s still in development. That said, it may not be far off—Kojima remains optimistic about its progress.
