Fans of Path of Exile 2 appear to have shown little to no support for the news regarding the latest premium items. In an unusual move, which some fans have jokingly referred to as "perfect timing," Grinding Gear Games has decided to release a series of new cosmetics, such as Skill Effects, even though the fan base had been urging the developer to "fix the game." Path of Exile 2's decline began with the Dawn of the Hunt patch, which many felt slowed the game down. Since then, it has lost part of its player base, and its Steam reviews have turned negative.
