Warlocks, it’s time to make a pact with your patron, then pose for a picture — Patch 8 has arrived! It brings a whopping 12 new subclasses (one for each class in the game), and a Photo Mode so you can show your new build off in style. You’ll also be able to flex your drunk monk or swashbuckling rogue cross-platform, as the new patch will allow console and PC players to party up as they quest across Faerûn.
But Larian isn’t the only one producing new content for Baldur’s Gate 3: the flourishing modding scene for the game is also getting a huge boost from Patch 8, thanks to Larian introducing native support for the modding toolkit to include things like Action Resources, Racial Spells that can be unlocked during Level Ups, Racial Passives, and more. This will allow modders to more easily make adjustments to the game, increasing what is possible with modding tools and allowing for more ways than ever to customize your experience in-game.
