Wuchang: Fallen Feathers received a release date, with publisher 505 Games announcing that the soulslike will hit the market on July 24. Apart from the current-generation consoles and PC, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will also be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from day one.
Originally announced in September 2021, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a new soulslike from Chengdu, China-based Lenzee Games. Set in 17th-century China, the game takes place during the dying years of the Ming dynasty, characterized by great turmoil. The protagonist, Wuchang, is an amnesiac pirate afflicted by an incurable affliction known as the Feathering Disease, which eventually turns its victims insane and transforms them into monstrous beings. As she travels the war-torn land of Shu, Wuchang will try to uncover her past and learn more about the monstrosities threatening the region.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, from developer Leenzee, shares some similarities with other Soulslike titles, particularly Sekiro and Black Myth Wukong.
