If you’re a fan of 2K’s Mafia franchise like me, you’re probably waiting for the first glimpse of gameplay from the upcoming Mafia: The Old Country. Well, I’ve got some good news: we won’t be waiting much longer for our first look at gameplay. In a post on social media, the official Mafia Game account has announced “The silence is nearly over,” and Mafia: The Old Country’s Official Gameplay Trailer will release on May 8th at 11 am ET/8 am PT/4 pm BST. Alongside this, just a few hours later at PAX East, there will be a developer panel at 2 pm ET, giving us some extra details about the game.
I can’t wait to see what Mafia: The Old Country has to offer in terms of gameplay. With the game set in a much different time period and a different country altogether (it’s in the name), I’m expecting to see at least a few major differences between Mafia: The Old Country and the series last release, Mafia III.
