Borderlands 4 Has Teased The Return Of A Fan-Favorite Character

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Borderlands 4 would be getting its very own State of Play showcase from PlayStation, giving us a deep dive into the game's combat and other gameplay features. We got to see plenty of fights that showcased new weaponry, a little bit of exploration, and new activities that dot the game's open world.

Whether it's a letdown or a GOTY contender, Borderlands 4 will be fascinating to discuss.

For starters, one of the biggest new additions appears to be a variety of new movement mechanics that will help you zip around the world a lot easier. Not only do you have a glide, which you can use to slowly descend from the top of high areas, but there will also be points at which you can climb up cliffs. On top of that, you also have a personal vehicle that you can summon at any time, so no more sprinting back to vehicle points.

We also got to see the abilities of two of the game's Vault Hunters, which are the ex-Tediore soldier Rafa and a new Siren called Vex. The latter is able to empower herself with her abilities, or summon deadly minions...
