Unfortunately, the Devil May Cry-like Japanese RPG Lost Soul Aside has been delayed from its initial May release date to help with the game's polish, as announced during a social media post on Tuesday. The game will now launch in late August, making it a launch closer to the fall.
Lost Soul Aside's New Release Date
"To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game," said Game Director & CEO of the developer Yang Bing. The game will now launch on August 29, 2025 for the PS5 and PC. You can pre-order the game on both platforms via the PlayStation Store and Steam.
RPG fans that have been following the progress of Lost Soul Aside have to wait a few more months to get their hands on this adventure. "We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for the launch," said Bing.
The game began development in 2014 and seems to be inspired by Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV. It's a game with flashy combat that lets you switch weapons on the fly.
