Star Wars Outlaws composer Wilbert Roget II had some very insightful comments regarding Lando Calrissian's character after his iconic betrayal of the Millennium Falcon crew on Bespin in The Empire Strikes Back. Lando had a role in Star Wars Outlaws' base game, but featured prominently in the Wild Card story expansion, and Screen Rant had an opportunity to ask Roget about his work prior to the release of Outlaws' second DLC, A Pirate's Fortune.
Speaking with Roget on the red carpet of the ASCAP Screen Music Awards, Screen Rant asked about composing for fan-favorite characters who have leading roles in the Star Wars Outlaws expansions. Roget first discussed Hondo Ohnaka, star of A Pirate's Fortune, saying previous themes composed for him are really "more of a vibe with certain instruments," rather than specific motifs. He went on to explain that a similar idea was used in Wild Card:
