The first Unofficial Patch for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has launched, continuing a tradition that started with the original Oblivion game in 2005. The patch for the game that was released 11 years ago brought hundreds of much-needed fixes to the game, ironing out bugs related to the scripting, quests, NPCs, items, dialogue, and other areas of the game that needed a touchup. The same team is now back to do the same for the newly released Oblivion Remaster.
The Unofficial Oblivion Remastered Patch is now available to download from Nexus Mods, as reported by DSO Gaming. The patch doesn't address too many issues yet, instead opening up a dedicated bug reporting site where players can list their issues for the team to resolve as they update the mod. In spite of the mod being in its infancy, fans can expect the same level of care and attention from the Unofficial Mod team. Fans have placed their faith in the team, with the patch already amassing over 32,000 downloads.
